I am Amanda Miller the owner of Curvy Consignments.
I was born and raised in the Cleveland area and have always been a big girl. From a 5X to XL and up to 3X again. I know the struggle. After losing my corporate job in 2009, I believed that I could help the area by opening up a Plus Size Consignment Shop.
Born from this idea is Curvy Consignments. I haven’t bought but 2 articles of new clothing in the past 5 years. I am a firm believer that you can look great for a fraction of the cost. The chain stores like Ave, FB, and LB are crazily expensive. For $49 at their stores you can buy one pair of jeans, at Curvy Consignments you will get, on average, 4 articles of clothing. Cleveland has tons of great consignment shops, but Curvy Consignments is dedicated to all my plus size friends. Larger fashions get lost in the shuffle, selections can be lacking in other consignment shops that cater only to size 0 to 20.
Curvy Consignments has 12,000 square feet of all Plus Size action. Currently the largest all plus size store in the world.
In March 2013, we opened Big Dudes, our men's big and tall. Dedicated to our big boys. Jeans sizes of 40 and up, Shirts 3x and up.
