I am the owner of Curvy Consignments. I was born and raised in the Cleveland area I have always been a big girl. Two years ago I had Lap Band surgery and have lost 100 pounds. I’ve gone from a 30/32 to a 16-18. I am still a plus size girl, and will always be.
After losing my corporate job in November, I believed that I could help the area by opening up a Plus Size Consignment Shop. Born from this idea is Curvy Consignments. I haven’t bought but 2 articles of new clothing in the past 2 years. I am a firm believer that you can look great for a fraction of the cost. The chain stores like Ave, FB, and LB are crazily expensive. For $49 at their stores you can buy one pair of jeans, at Curvy Consignments you will get, on average, 4 articles of clothing.
Cleveland has tons of great consignment shops, but Curvy Consignments is dedicated to all my plus size friends. Larger fashions get lost in the shuffle, and selections can be lacking in other consignment shops that cater to size 0 to 20. At Curvy Consignments has 1100 square feet of all Plus Size action.
Fashions are available for trendy teenagers to business executives. From club wear to 3-piece blazer skirt sets. Having a store with a great variety at inexpensive prices and the comfort of being with women just like us is priceless.
